PB&J
is
Philip B. Francis (PB)
and James Kernick (J)
With
few style limitations, the two artist/ producer/ engineers have pioneered
and
embellished their
craft, while
generously exploring the depths of modern music. With over 1,000 master quality
copyright
free tracks in their catalog, the duo’s prolific nature is well
respected, as is the consistency and potency of their music. Often described
as cinematic
and unpredictable, Phil and James take pride in the vast spectrum of
tempos, colors, textures, and “feel” their productions invoke.
Whether it be Acid Country, Electronica, Hip-Hop, Rock, Americana, World/Ethnic,
Retro-American,
Acid Jazz, Classical Fusion or Pop, PB&J delivers the goods.
Having officially partnered in 1998, PB&J
have been steadily on the rise. The duo has enjoyed success in the form
of two 20 song-publishing deals with music library OneMusic (Firstcom). PB&J
has been a mainstay on MTV programming for the past four years, rarely going
a
week
without multiple cues on such shows as “The Real World”, “Punk’d”,“Road
Rules”, “Road Rules Challenge”, “Making the Band” (I&II), “Fraternity
Life”, “Sorority Life”, “Surfer Girls” and “Born
to Diva” on VH-1. They have also contributed to many FOX productions
such as “Malcolm in the Middle”,” America’s Most
Wanted”,
and the two-hour FOX special “Search for a Playboy Centerfold:
Girl Next Door”. PB&J have also had many cues on cable programs
such as “Extra!”, “Access
Hollywood”, and “Rank”. They have also contributed
to six Independent Films, a Verizon Wireless commercial, and have charted
in the
top 40 on Internet
Radio in over 30 Countries worldwide!
PB&J often write to spec. and relish the opportunity
to contribute their unique productions to other mediums. They aspire
to produce tracks for an established artist, (Hip-Hop, Pop, Dance, etc.) and
to
score
for film.
